Farm Worker Health Programs

The Farm Worker Health Programs located in Health District 8-2, Ellenton Clinic in Colquitt County and the Decatur County
program are both Federally funded programs with funding being received through the Georgia Department of Community Health
and the Boards of Health in each of those counties being contracted by DCH to provide primary health care to farm workers
and their families. To qualify for the program a total family annual income of 51% must come from agriculture. The client
must provide proof of income and will be charged on a sliding scale basis. The Ellenton Clinic covers Colquitt, Cook, Tift
and Brooks counties. The Decatur Farm Worker Program covers Decatur, Seminole, Grady, Thomas and Mitchell counties.
